Club Chairman Paul Roberts commented “With both Grayshott Cricket Club and Applegarth being popular members of Grayshott village life, we see this as a natural collaboration especially so when the club played its first ever game on the ground at Applegarth Farm. From a club perspective, the sponsorship from Applegarth will allow us to create more pavilion enjoyment and experiences through bespoke offerings and picnics made available to us by Applegarth.
With the expansion to a second ground at Broxhead Common in Lindford and new sponsorship, we are incredibly excited about entering into this new era for Grayshott Cricket Club”.
Being a successfully run family business built on high quality produce and service, Applegarth`s Will Benson adds “Partnering with Grayshott Cricket Club fits perfectly with the ethos of Applegarth which is about supporting local organisations and helping grow small businesses in the local area.”
Grayshott Cricket Club has a healthy membership now approaching 250, running four adult teams on a Saturday together with eleven junior teams. As well as providing plenty of opportunities for players of all abilities to play cricket the club also prides itself on arranging plenty of social events including in 2016 an expanded Beer & Wine Festival from 29 – 31 July.
