Cornerway Lodge have arranged for their hedge to be cut back to their boundary this Saturday, 11th June. The contractors may have to return on Monday 13th to finish off. It would be sensible to avoid the north end of Boundary Road if at all possible during these times primarily for safety but also if the contractors have to keep stopping to allow cars to pass it will of course take them considerably longer.
It will of course look quite ghastly once the green vegetation has been removed so we may all have to come up with some innovative ideas (and plants) to fill the gaps as best we can. However, it will of course be great to be able to use that part of the bridleway which has been protected for the last ten years and no doubt is perfectly smooth! Julia Tarento
