Bramshott Common

An extensive area of heathland and mixed woodland South of Grayshott

The common is bisected by the A3.

Much of the area is owned by the MOD and used for exercises.

There was a major Canadian Camp here during WWI.

The underlying sandstone geology means the soils are acidic and support a range of acid loving plants and their associated animal and bird life.

It is possible to walk over the common to the Prince of Wales in Hammer
